Urban Fox

This cheeky fox was sunning himself on the roof of our air-raid shelter this morning.  I guess he was surprised to see the sun too!

  3. Hi Ruth,
Great pictures - lucky fox to get such a prime spot! I often see an urban fox while I wait in the car during guitar lessons. It's the plushest, fattest looking fox I have ever seen - actually looks like its been blow dried at the hairdressers!

  5. We have a young one who lives at the bottom of the garden, we think its mother must have come to grief recently on the main road. Last night we were eating supper in the conservatory with the door open and there it was, bold as brass at the doorstep like a dog! Freaked me out completely....

  6. He is a very fine looking Mr Fox! just hate the poo they dot about in the most weirdest of places!
In answer to the yellowing paint, did you use an oil based F&B or the new Estate Eggshell? We have stopped using the Oil in favour of the Estate. I have a shed load of Oil Based if anyone wants it! Maybe if and when you feel like painting it again....UGH! try using the Floor Paint in All White it is tougher. someone turned on our Sun....lets hope it stays a while!

  7. Just beautiful!

I hear them loud and often and always with a little trepidation being a chook mum, but never manage to spot one. He's stunning!

  8. Great pics! The fox probably loves the quiet and seclusion behind the air raid shelter. Definitely doing a cheeky pose for the camera in the last one! :)
