He dipped his paw into the box and selected...... Lynn .
Thankyou to all who left a message, I'm sorry you can't all be winners but I have enjoyed doing this give away so much I intend to have another soon.
I hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday. I was so excited to find that our local car boot sale was now running again after over a year's absence. I got up early armed with lots of plastic carriers for my booty and lots of change. Sadly I can't post photos of what I bought because I bought ...... NOTHING AT ALL! Never mind, there's always next week.
I will leave you with photos of a rhododendron flowering in the back garden and a rose in the front.
Your teddy bear is so cute, he looks very old. I have so many shaggy teddies, my parents used to buy me one for Christmas every year, they now live on top of my wardrobe, peaking over, watching us as we sleep. xxxx
ReplyDeleteHe he! What a gorgeous teddy - adore his bandage. Thank you so much! I'm really delighted like a six year old, honestly I am! I hardly ever win things, that's the truth. Love the photos of the draw too... giggle. :) Ruth you are very kind thank you what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lynn!!!

Ooooh I'm pretty excited! Just got my post and opened a box to find truly beautiful tissue, which I removed to find - a box of Pretty! It felt like Christmas, I assure you. Smelling divine, the parcel revealed itself in a most feminine and lovely way, with gorgeous Bronnley soap, a very elegant candleholder, a stunning white embroidered cloth and other lovely goodies....I adore it all thank you so much Ruth! I couldn't have chosen it better - it was a box of Lynn, all wrapped in such a delightful way. xxx :D oooh and a postcard, I love postcards...
ReplyDeleteThank you All for the congrats! Ruth has started something here... I shall surely do this.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I am hosting a book swap over on my blog. It is a permanent feature, which will always be on my blog, it is not a one off, like the rose theme swap I'm hosting. I have listed a load of my books which I am willing to swap, take a look, there may be some you fancy. If you would like to list books which you no longer want, and are willing to swap, just contact me at rosehyacinth@hotmail.co.uk, or leave a comment on my blog, with your name, the name of your blog and the books you wish to swap, and I will type them up and post them on the swap page, so the more and more people who participate, the wider the range of books there will be to choose from, and remember, it will always be there on my blog.
ReplyDeleteTake Care
Love Melanie xxx

Are you watching Kirstie's Homemade Home? I love it! I bet she'd love your website. You should advertise to her!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know the book club discussion has begun! Yay, we are officially members of the literati.
ReplyDeleteHello Ruth
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind and good wishes for my cat Larry. It was so appreciated! Unfortunately did not spot your lovely giveaway on time as I have been very behind on the blogging scene! I went to the Isle of Wight this weekend and I saw a shop in Carisbrook called Oh So Vintage. I compared contact details with your website thinking it might be you but the numbers are different. I have put a picture of the shop on my latest post. I had on popping in on Monday to see if it was you but the shop was closed.
Have a great weekend
Take care
Isabelle x

Hello, and thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog. I love your Rhodo, what a fabulous colour.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your lucky winner. (Teddies can be so helpful can't they ?!!)
It's a small world isn't it? Glad you spotted my crochet house on Kirstie Alsopps web page and managed to find me.
ReplyDeleteJust gotta tell you - that blindfolded teddy made me chuckle out loud. Great idea!
Congrats to the winner!
ReplyDeleteTeddy did a great job -- I still have my old teddy bear too. He's quite tattered and loved.
Have you had success finding a lilac bush yet?
:)
~Becca~
Oh the photos of ted really tickled me..!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Lynn...
I think it is harder to find treasures at car boot sales these days thanks to all the programmes promoting them .. but sometimes you can strike lucky!
Good luck for the next one.

Oh your teddy is gorgeous....He did a great job despite being blindfolded! X
ReplyDeleteP.S Thankyou for stopping by my blog, in answer to your question, I do 'that' walk a few times a week, there are so many pretty walks where I live that arent as painful on the knees. I leave the strenuous walks to my husband (and if the weather is bad Hee Hee!)
Thanks Ruth, I will let you know when the book arrives. xxx
